Itäs sad that despite all the crazy fests and evewnts I went to this weekend the one thing I feel i need to write about is Harry Potter 6.
First off It was the 16th and I knew it was going out on Saturday and that the Gondrom would have the precious book, and i honestly had planned this entire trip, that I would not buy the book. I mean Iäve never bought a HP book in my life, Iäve always managed to get it from other people to read, I mean itäs not like no one owns it, or itäs a rare item. If necessary I would go to the book store and begin reading it. Itäs not like Barnes and Noble, it would not be sold out or anything. That and itäs only the english version haha. Anyway I wasn#t even supposed to be at the bookstore on the 16th, but it began raining and instead of staying at the lake we went to the city to shop, which proved not to be too swell of an idea, but never the less I found myself in the Gondrom while my cousin was trying on clothes at the Espirit next door and I sat down began reading it and realised 15minutes later that I had a nice little nifty bag with Harry Potter 6 in it and an empty wallet(although it was only about 16 € which is pretty good I think.. thats like 19 USD.. but I only had a 20 with me that day, stupid really to go shoping with only 20€). But I couldnät read it. I had to continue with shopping in the blistering thunder and lightening storm for like 3 more hours. Then I got home, began it, and then went off the the LIchterserenade. Which was beautiful, just like the last time I had seen it. On Sunday I tried once again to read more, but with little success. I didn#t want to get the book wet but decided after the awful weather of saturday that I needed to take avantage of the good weather on sunday and go to the lake. We spent near 5 or 6 hours there, all this time I was not reading. And then in the evening Günzburg. But I decided I could read at night. By now I had been about half way through the book, and i was dying for the ending, but yesterday was Nabada. A huge ass festival in Ulm. Infact everyone goes on the Donau, well not everyone but lots of youth and itäs like a giant pool party in the rivier, people splashing eachother with water like made. Floates everywhere. And some special boats with decorations. And lots of other crazy ass shit. It was a complete blast, I will admit, had it not been thundering and lightening and raining and cold I probably would have jumped into the river myself and joined in the crazy time. There was also the Volksfest and openair free concerts everywhere in Ulm and neu Ulm, So the night resulted with a very drunk off of cocktails Lizz, who accidentlly asked out the best man from her cousin#s wedding for lunch the next day... I really would preferr to not go into the details of how that drunken catastrophe occured(But I assure you I have stayed loyal to my Knic and if anything results from last night... which I#m hoping Jens was too drunk to remember himself i will blame alcohol and of course say i am not interested)... ANYWAY I got home very late, very Drunk, and remembering sorta that I had school today managed to set my alarm clock and then passed out on the bed.
But yesterday did not go complete waste of HP6 reading. I had managed a good 150 pages before Nabada. And today in German class I read, so hahaha I have about a hundred pages left.
Oh and if my Lovely Beth could clarify soemthing for me. Now the British Version of Harry Potter, is the American version edited because I feel some differences between the two. And I#äm not just tlaking baout different cover pages and pages and stuff, which is obviously different. But words too. Like I really donät remember Rowling having this exact writing style. And the call the Socerers stone the philosophers stone(and I know that is the Bristish name for the first book) so I was just wondering how different the two versions are exactly.
Alas.. I refuse to add Spoilers to this entry, but I must comment on one of my dislikes... WTF is up with her attempt at "love interests" In my opinion they not only are poorly written, but also well... I just don#t like most of them. ugh.

The main difference between the British and American versions is that the American ones are often edited to take out much of the evidence of British slang words and phrases; however, they've been doing that less and less to the point where it's hardly noticable now.
Oh, and while many of the love interests seem really oddly written, I've heard from many that they're accurate depictions of "16-year-old boy", which is why I'm now thanking my lucky stars that I never dated one.
